For over two decades, I’ve been doing what I love most — sharing Ireland with the world, one story at a time.

I’m Noel Hancock, founder of Irish Tours 365 and one of a select group of elite guides in Ireland to hold dual accreditation as both a National and Dublin City Tour Guide. I combine master-level expertise with the personal touch of a native storyteller. The truth is, I love the sound of my own voice — and I’ve learned to use it well.

The Guide Behind the Tours

I work full-time as a private tour guide, partnering with a select group of specialist operators and welcoming my own clients to experience Ireland on their terms. No crowded buses. No rushed itineraries. Just you, your companions, and the real Ireland — with all its layers, contradictions, and quiet magic.

I spent three years tutoring on the National Tour Guide programme at Portobello Institute in Dublin, training the next generation of guides. I stepped back to go deeper — to focus on specialist guiding and the craft of storytelling that makes this work meaningful.

Philosophy

“Tour guiding operates in the realm of public history. I’m a public historian — I talk about history to people, which is a very different thing from actual history. We all live in a narrative of what we think Ireland is. I’m sharing my version.”

That version is personal. It’s researched. And it’s constantly evolving. Every winter, I reinvent myself — voice work, storytelling techniques, specialist subjects like whiskey. Staying fresh means making every guest feel like they’re on my first tour, not my thousandth.
